Finding a Disciplinarian

I recently conducted a poll, asking if people had a disciplinarian, and if not, would they look for one, or had they found one.. I was pleased o find that many said they were either looking, or had found one.. So, to ask - if you were in a relationship, but your partner did not have the ability or desire to proved what you desired - and if you found an outside Disciplinarian, does your partner know? I provide discipline for several, and only one of the four told their partner about their discipline from me.. The others feel that since their partner is not capable of doing it.. they do not owe them an explanation.. Love to hear from those who sought out a disciplinarian - and was it a good experience, and did others know?

When we lived with my ex's strict parents, I was very well disciplined and I loved them very much. Especially after being paddled by his mom or strapped by his dad, when I always felt so very loved by them. Birdie

@sfish007 I probably could have thanked them more. But I did always tell them how very sorry I was for my behavior and that I loved them very much. Sometimes, especially after being disciplined, I referred to them as mom and dad. And they would beam with joy and love for me if I said "I love you, mom" or "I'm so sorry, dad."

I've encouraged my last couple of partners to be open to the idea of having either a third in our relationship or to have a semi-open relationship. So far I've yet to have a partner open to the concept and I feel that's been the downfall of my partnerships due to my asexuality. While I do care for and value my significant others, I have difficulties expressing my feeling physically due to my lack of a need for physical intimacy myself and it's led to several arguments in the past and questions about my 'true intentions' or 'loyalty'. So I for one agree with the idea of having either multiple partners or open relationships if it means all individuals within the partnership can have their physical and emotional needs me, though honesty about it is something I think should be expressed, none of this 'secret lovers’ or sneaking around nonsense, I think it's just asking for trouble at that point.

I was a disciplinarian in multiple relationships over the years.
I would never enter into a relationship, platonic or sexual, with someone who has a committed partner without the permission of the partner. It’s disrespectful. It’s also contradictory to the boundaries established within said partnership.

My husband is my disciplinarian, we’re monogamous. If my needs were not being met, I would discuss with him. Although we are married, we have established boundaries and hard limits we mutually respect. Sharing is not included.

I was a disciplinarian for many years. But i find less and less want or need me or maybe they think i am to old and that puts them off

@nevergiveup interesting.. i am 55, and i think it is more if people know what they want. I know the ones i help, like the older age and maturity.. due to feminism for 30 years, there are not a lot of firm handed men in the 20-45 age group. when you did discipline, were they single, married? Was it just punishment?

Early in our marriage , my wife proposed I discipline her to ‘ clear the air ‘ rather than let a row fester ( her wrong doing )
I was simply not ‘ man enough ‘ to carry it out ‘ properly.
