As an atheist and involved in SSC (Safe Sane and Consensual) BDSM I can see it takes tremendous amount of courage for a naturally submissive person to break away from a Christian marriage based on flawed rights to punish.
Sunnflower has my full support in separating the bonds of what many regard as a non-consensual punishment and a perverted interpretation of the Bible. Suggesting man has the right to dominate a woman and be regarded as a head of household is an outdated concept condemned in other religions and can give rise to abuse.
Hoping Sunnflower finds a RL Master who can give her the love and respect she deserves.
Until that time, if she so wishes, I am happy to be her virtual mentor and offer support where I can.

I got into a big go round with a couple of members of CDD. They were men of course who had the opinion that a woman raised in that kind of environment was free to leave anytime she wanted. That's nonsense. I have no problem with adults who are capable of making decisions based on their wants choosing this lifestyle. But I'm very bothered by women who see it as their godly duty with no choice in the decision.

Agree with you completely and it is sad that some women seem to be taken in with the concept that they have a religious duty to stay in a relationship written by men. That duty is based on partial quotations and misusing selective quotes from the Bible that are contradicted within the Bible itself.
Whether atheist or believer I would hope that all into SSC BDSM would oppose this cult that increases the risks of the abuse of submissive women.
