What are some good live on site jobs for people with no experience or degrees of any sort?

They are actually *paying* people to learn the building trades, but that results in certification...

(FWIW, I believe Detroit has the first female Master Electrician in the US, and being an electrician is a lot less messy than, say, being a plumber, etc.)

Personal assistant (be a paid "gopher"/"go-fer")--you need to learn what people like, etc. Detail, availability.

Servers, but these are often VERY underpaid due to tips being assumed. Detail, politeness.

Assembler--a person who sits & assembles, say, a computer, etc., or who works at an automotive plant, etc.

Retail--you'll learn how to work a register, etc., but these are hard because browsing ppl screw up the careful order of the goods, the folding of clothes, etc.

Bus driver--you'll probably need a course on driving *that* type of vehicle, and a new license or endorsement but if you can handle the schedule, you'll often get benefits.

Fulfillment / shipping centers--if you have followed the nonsense @ Amazon, you prob. do NOT want this.

Delivery--if you can handle all manner of kooks (nude guys...oh, wait, you're *here* lol), and possibly being robbed (if you got into food delivery), then you might like it.
Amazon has local delivery ppl, too, which is different from the fulfillment centers.

You might find paid positions at a major food bank, etc.

Think of what would get you interested in the day, and go from there.

In this economy, search for "on-the-job training", because people are *hurting* for employees.

If you're on the US, you're in luck. There are hundreds of thousands more jobs than applicants in the services, retail, and construction industries. You cannot turn a corner without seeing help needed signs.

Oil well workers, they work several weeks on and then get several weeks off. Knew one guy who after his divorce just stayed with his old mother when he was off work.
