Ive only lived in three countries and in none of them nudity is illegal.
Another thing is that it would be conventionally acceptable to walk down the street naked.
I believe oppressive laws are not needed, if most people are considerate of others

Miram · 31-35, F
You don't mind your kid seeing some guy's boner?

It makes sense it's illegal in most of the world.

I surely don't want to see boners.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Miram there are very few erections on nude beaches. Nudity is not necessarily sexual in nature.
Miram · 31-35, F
@samueltyler2 It's been almost a month since I made that comment. I don't really care that long about it. My opinion is already made up.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Miram your opinion is that nudity is wrong? In special locations or all?

The US is so prudish it's a wonder there are even the few nude beaches we have.
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
[c=#4C0073]I do. I think it’s really idiotic to criminalize the human form. Especially, when they accept grotesque violence in its place. When you can openly watch a guy gun down twenty people but blur two people expressing love, there is a serious problem with the nation.[/c]
NotJamieM · 46-50, M
@VioletRayne I might be if I'm somewhere remote or in a hotel room or something. And of course the c.o. beach. It's great that you're ok and not judgmental about others doing it. I'm at the point where I could just stand there and have a normal conversation with you amd kinda forget the fact um not wearing anything lol.
VioletRayne · 31-35, F
@NotJamieM [c=#4C0073]being judgmental is humanities biggest issue. Letting people just be is half the battle.[/c]
NotJamieM · 46-50, M
@VioletRayne Exactly, and well said.
Brianthesnail · 56-60, M
Where on earth is it illegal to be in a natural state??????
Brianthesnail · 56-60, M
Ok, maybe. But not in free countries
NakedExperiment · 51-55, M
@Brianthesnail That's why the US has to call itself the "land of the free", so the citizens there think they are free.
Brianthesnail · 56-60, M
Free to shoot children, at least ☹️
naturegirlUK · 41-45, F
they say it isn't illegal but they make it very difficult
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
It turns out that nudity is not specifically illegal on US federal property. There is a national park in Sandy Hook, NJ and Ginnasin at the bend has a clothing optional philosophy. I went twice last summer!

In Oregon simple nudity is an expression of free speech.
daveal · 56-60, M
@samueltyler2 Not a lot. June through September is pretty reliable.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@daveal it can get really very hot, almost too hot to be outside, even nude! Where do you go to be nude in public?
daveal · 56-60, M
I keep it to our local nude beaches, but there are no state laws on the books making simple nudity indecent.
jackson55 · M
It's legal in some places. Oregon in some places. Clothing opp beaches are others. There are plenty on nudist resorts to attend. But public nudity will never be accepted.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@jackson55 public as walking naked in the street? Unlikely anywhere except isolated nudist/naturist resorts. Nudity is not specifically banned on us public properties. So there is a nudity allowed beach in the NY gateway national shore on sandy hook.
jackson55 · M
[@ I was in Eugene Oregon a few years ago and saw a protest march by a bunch of college girls. They were all topless and protesting that Guy could go topless but they couldn't. So some places in Oregon it's legal to be topless and nude in others.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@jackson55 I think that battle has been fought in many places and won. Once the pro-life was one, it has seldom been exercised.

@Waymore But we're constantly told that the US is a free country! Prostitution is illegal there too, isn't it?
