Being a kid again

A facet of the horror addict - when the story involves someone going towards a threatening place, and there's the reader's sensation of a thrill. The reader is imagining doing what the character is doing, one may be saying or screaming inside don't go there, but we primally want them and ourselves to go there, for why else would one be a horror fan.

As a younger person, i would indeed want there to be danger like this, as the person i now am, i have to really depart for this function to run smoothly.

As i read horror fiction, i am mentally regressing to my childhood. And it's a gas!!
