American political parties don't aspire to intelligence they belittle it.

Better to have a controllable drone in the top job rather than someone likely to upset a big donor or a section of business whose likely to point out the flaws they rely on

@pancakeslam Bernie Sanders would have lost in the same way as Kamala. Americans voted to improve their economy and resolve the border crisis. As a socialist, Bernie would do massive damage to the economy. He would do nothing about the border crisis. Immigration would be worse under a man like him. These Democrats who believe he would have done a better job are delusional. People voted against everything he stands for.
