The only reason the US has a highway system is as a reward for killings in WWII. Today's America didn't earn a new infrastructure!

I suppose you mean the Interstate Highway System that was begun under the Eisenhower administration to help improve national defense after WWII. That still doesn't explain why there is an Interstate Highway in Hawaii since it doesn't connect with any other states.
