So, Trump wants to get rid of the 14th amendment.

If he's able to get rid of the 14th amendment what other changes to the constitution will Trump, Vance and Elon make?
None. The president can’t unilaterally amend the Constitution. But the Federalist Society hacks on the Supreme Court can “reinterpret” it. The question of birthright citizenship was decided in Wong Kim Ark, but we know what the current court thinks of precedent.

I don’t think they care enough to reinterpret the 14th amendment, however. They’re more focused on reinterpreting the 1st amendment to make a particularly degenerate form of Christianity into the official government religion to worry about who gets to live here.

Interestingly, Vivek Ramaswamy, half of DoGE, was born to two non-citizens, as he explained in an interview in 2023. His father is still a non-citizen; his mother became a naturalized citizen after Vivek was born. I wonder if he'll deport himself??

@ElwoodBlues of course he won’t. But if he was a Democrat…
He'll need 66% of congress for that.

@Pitchblue Biden will order a hit on Trump first . But you’re right. Trump will have absolute power. You wanted a dictator, you’ll get one

@Mesthartiya That’s why he puts loyalty over and above everything else, skk on that he can get his own way completely unchallenged.

The rule of law and the US Constitution mean nothing to the incoming administration. Their mantra is "see you in court" and will do what they want anyway.

@Granny certainly possible, people change their minds...guess the MAGA world will just have to eat this one. Guess you won't be voting for him again...oh wait...never mind. Given the Supreme Court's decision on presidential immunity the MAGA hounds will likely never be able to go after Biden for anything he did as president or vice president...sigh

@Corporalcolleague Biden is hiding his Adolf Eichmann crimes he committed in the Ukraine

It's much harder to amend the Constitution than many people seem to think.
@tindrummer Amending is hard. Ignoring the Constitution is easy, especially when SCOTUS gives permission and a get out of jail free card.
