@Burnley123 ironic that it's the current strongman in Chechnya (Ramzan Kadyrov) advocating for Putin to use nukes

@SW-User Putin originally took power in Russia using a brutal war against Chetchen independence to help him.

Update from the BBC:
The names (Samir and Makhir Yusubov) indicate they're Muslim. More footage was available today, and while it's hard to tell, the part of the collapsed roadway visible above the water surface, seems intact, with no crater blast area, indicating that the explosion may have come from below, but that section could be under water.
Security camera footage released on social media showed a truck - allegedly from the Russian city of Krasnodar, an hour's drive from the crossing - moving west across the bridge at the time of the explosion.
Russian officials named a 25-year old Krasnodar man, Samir Yusubov, as the owner of the truck, and said an older relative, Makhir Yusubov, was the driver.

In a statement last night, the head of President Zelensky's office, Mykhailo Podolyak, seemed to endorse Moscow's truck bomb theory.
"The answers should be sought in Russia," he said in a statement.
The explosion, he said, was the result of infighting between different parts of Russia's security establishment.
"This is a concrete manifestation of the conflict between the FSB [Russia's internal intelligence service] / PMC [private military contractors, like the Wagner Group] on the one hand, and the Ministry of Defence / general staff of the Russian Federation on the other hand," he said.

The last I read, which might have been updated, is that the truck came from the Russian side. It'll be interesting to see who it's attributed to. Hard to trust anything coming out of the region right now.

@Ynotisay all kinds of rumors are apparently coming out of telegram. See the link to the YouTube video on my reply.
What I find interesting about this video is it seems Russia is using telegram as sort of a bridge between their media and western media. Or so it seems by that video.
Sort of makes a weird kind of sense as well.

That would make sense. You go from Chechen territory, into Russia and then Crimea. In the chaos of Chechen forces acting as cannon fodder in Ukraine, a Chechen suicide cell could have easily done it. The video shows the moment the truck exploded, at the very point where the bridge rises, the most vulnerable part.

The Chechens have been waiting for an opportunity to get back in the game. Russia had an opportunity to prosper and build a decent country, but they fucked that up

I know this doesn't show up on here. Yet it does have a clickable link to the actual YouTube video.
It has some interesting if not confirmable info on it.
