This is a problem for the world of course. But a much bigger problem for the American people. Like every other crisis the government buries its head in the sand over, it will come back to bite them on the @$$ harder than anyone else..😷

@GrinNude I am optimistic about the changes. But beyond thatm the sad fact is that a lot of unpleasant choices need to be made to the American lifestyle. I am sure they will be unpopular. And I suspect, rejected by the voters..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman There was heavy rain in Southern New England this week. Some places reported up to 11 in of rain. An inch of rain is the equivalent of 10 to 12 in of snow. Can you imagine people dealing with 10 ft of snow in one storm? In these parts, people still remember the Blizzard of 78. The potential for snowfall in this new world would make that seem like a dusting. God help us all to help ourselves.

@GrinNude I can. Our mid north coast of New Saouth Wales has had three "once in a centry" floods in 2 years. Plans are now afoot to abandon parts of one town as uninhabitable. and pay compensation..😷
With its complete lack of atoms, a vacuum is often considered to be the best known insulator. however that will not work in this case will it?
