No racism in America? And why is it always with that southern accent "I tell you wuuut?"

Typical racists (ignorant trolls) on this site. It’s shocking to realize how shocked I am at not being shocked.

@Sarah333 You're coming off a president who namechecked white supremacists in a presidential debate. And about half the country still idolises him.
This site is pretty representative.

No one of any common sense claims that racism doesn't exist in the U.S.What is inherently untrue is the notion the the country is inherently, systematically racist. It is a silly idea that is easily disproven.

@KT2002 And this is why Critical Race Theory should be taught in every single school in America. Have you heard of slavery? Your ignorance doesn't negate the existence of systemic racism. The facts are there. Just do a quick Google search "Scholarly articles for how redlining affects education" -it shows you that racism and the systems of oppression are still alive and well. Look up redlining impact on the United States. In fact, go to http://www.heritage.org which is a conservative think tank "Housing Redlining and Its Lingering Effects on Education Opportunity". Read "Modern-day redlining: How banks block people of color from homeownership". Yet another, "A troubling tale of a Black man trying to refinance his mortgage". Educate yourself.

@Graylight slavery ended a looooong time ago. if removing dead people from voter rolls is voter suppression, ok i'm guilty.

@boudinMan The issues I mentioned barely scratch the surface. Education has been compromised. The ability to ascend through wealth tiers has been blocked. Even climate change hits minorities harder due to geography and urban planning. Health care is not nearly as accessible. And you probably don't know what it's like to live in a neighborhood where you don't stand up straight in front of your living room window.

These are the results of institutionalized racism. This isn't about blame, so the defensiveness is unnecessary. It's about facing reality and ensuring a better future.
It’s a good thing rappers never use that dreadful N word! Imagine of they did? And how awful that would be? It’s a good thing they don’t because that would be so hypocritical, wouldn’t it?

@stratosranger You're not very evolved, are you?
Not really because coming from them it's different. @stratosranger
