Why is Labor Day weekend considered the end of summer?

@Eddiesolds I honestly don't know! Because "whites" are summer clothes and Labour Day is the end of summer . The "rule" in Canada is you can wear your whites starting Victoria Day to Labour Day.

@GBPackersFan For me it's a depressing weekend. But I can see your point! After a week or so the fall colours start coming out and I enjoy the cooler weather and football.

In Truth...at some point of time the Calendar was first invented and then put into effect

Simular to time zones...everyone knowing when a time ( of day and date ) is..the better life can happen ( and all sorts of things be planed for ( and hence remembered from long ago )
