I love Summer

It is so cold and dark. Like Winter. We had Summer days at Easter, days at school sitting on the benches waiting for our mams and dads to collect us, talking about our lives. Conversations I shall never forget. Thank you lockdown students. We were never remembered as our parents were. That we were dropped off in school at 8 and collected at 6. That school was open every day of the holidays. A summer to remember with thanksgiving to the Lord
