Will my Hyacinth plant keep on being alive or what?

I have mine in one of those vases that keeps the bulb above water but the roots in the water. I have it indoors. I have read online things ranging from that the plant lives for 3 years to that it dies after blooming flowers, mine has flowers blooming so is it gonna die next or is it going to keep being alive and growing leaves like other plants after the flowers are gone? Anyone who has had experience with this plant please let me know.

It must be happy to continue the way it is. Have you thought of planting it in a garden or large pot? These plants usually continue living after the flowers die until more grow the following year. But it would be better in the ground by now.
