What houseplants would be good for a bathroom with NO WINDOWS?

I've been told that temperature can affect plant growth, so having them in the bathroom may help?

I have no windows in my bathroom.

I will not purchase a plant light.

I do not like fake plants.

Suggestions?

Succulent plants do very well in low light often the ceiling light is enough. But since you are probably hardly in the bathroom you would need to leave the lights on sometimes.

If you search long enough you can find some really pretty ones.

@REMsleep thank you, I love how the lady looks. Reminds me of those chia pets from back in the day. I see the lady head on Amazon for $43. I have a $25 Amazon gift card but I'd still have to spend $20 of my own. Hmm, decisions decisions.🤔

@iamnikki Thanks for BA!
I like it too.
Thinking about getting it. So cute because I need something I don't have to water often.

Will you leave the light on? Difficult to grow plants with no light. Lucky bambo is said to be forgiving of low light --

@Nelladell nah, definitely not leaving the light on. This isn't motel 6😅

@iamnikki With no windows and no artificial light, may be too dark for even lucky bamboo.
Ferns thrive in the dark and most environment.

Also check out Fatsia Japonica. These can grow very large. They are dramatic and lush.
Snake plant. It'll grow in the bathroom with no windows fine, don't over water it though. If you do when it gets root just cut the leaves above soil level and stick it in new dirt and they'll propagate

@Justafantasy I don't like those. They look too much like snakes😅
@iamnikki call it a different name then. "Mother in-laws tongue" is another name for it. Certain cactus you can grow in the bathroom and water once or twice a year as the humidity is all the moisture they need

Philodendron and Pothos don’t need much light.

@cherokeepatti yea I was looking at youtube yesterday night and came across that. She said that cutting of pothos need even less. Which is perfect, sincce I have like 4 bottles with cutting in them. I moved 2 to the bathroom.
