Do they attract rats? Someone told me that before

We have had a few really sunny days this year..

I've seen a kemon tree grown outside at Osterley Park House and it has fruit on it. But that is the only one.

@meggie It’s very fulfilling and rewarding isn’t it? I just do it by trial and error mostly - I even had to check online to make sure it was a lemon tree and not some sort of weed!
Are you going to have a go at growing one?
meggie · F
@Oneofthestormboys no I have nowhere to put it as the garden is full of fruit trees, vegetabke patches and flowers. But if I had a spare corner I would.

@meggie If this one survives, I’m going to keep it pruned as a bush and keep it inside I think. Someone told me that if they’re caught up in temperatures of zero or less then they die…

My friend has grown some interesting things in her garden the last few years that wouldn't typically grow there, but then the seasons have been doing funny things!
