A member of staff just explained to me how a person might use folded cardboard in lieu of a doorstop.

He even brought me over to a door & demonstrated; no joke! I just let him.

It's surprising what you can do when you really think about things.

It's how I fixed my leaky coffee maker. Opened it up and just cut off the tubing where it was leaking. Then reattached the tube. There was plenty of slack on what was there.
