Decisions decisions decisions

So I’m not in a bad place mental health wise, not perfect, but not bad. However I know how easy it is to plummet if not careful.

This weekend will be a massive trigger for me, I know it will be because it is every year. It’s Father’s Day on Sunday and it hits me hard every single time. The problem is that it’s everywhere you go…on tv, on social media, in shops, pubs, restaurants. You just can’t escape from it.

So the choices do I stick it out, try to practice resilience and just push through with the occasional expected meltdown…

Or do I disappear until it’s over? Go off grid, no phone, no internet, no people until Monday?

I kinda think push through, maybe if your’e on your own you might just have a meltdown anyway? And then there’s no one around. But it’s up to you.

@Strongtea there’s always that chance but it’s easier without the constant reminders

Sure, but it’s gonna happen every year, however, it’s totally up to you, you’ve got to make yourself happy, so do that. Hope it’s ok.@SW-User
