Americans have a right to a speedy and public trial. Why is trump's being so delayed?

Such delay is not fair nor speedy. Plus he was found guilty only to not have consequence. And did NOT WIN a majority of votes.
Something ain't right.

Trump doesn’t do speedy, he does delays. He even delays the delaying to further the final delay. And at the rate his brain is melting down these days, he’ll be too mentally incapacitated to stand trial by the time it’s back on the table 🤷‍♂
