Skindred are the ultimate live band. So much energy and you'll want to get in on the newport helicopter.
Hatebreed are excellent. Watch out for their balls of death.
Heilung put on a very visual show. Even if you don't like their music they're worth watching. It's viking folk metal.
I'm seeing Thrown and Kublai Khan in 4 weeks.
I'm not into black metal as such but Dimmu Borgir are more symphonic and it just works. I can't see the rest of Sunday but the line up looks decent.

@Ferise1 Balls of death. There were two but one went sideways and over the food vendors and into VIP 😂 They have them at every festival.

@Ferise1 I’d say it’s a metal festival not rock but Dimmu are black metal and much heavier. Try Skindred ‘That’s my jam’ and see what you think.

@Bleed okay. In my 20s or 30s, I would’ve ate this up, but not anymore. The constant fast drums just give me anxiety. Gonna check out Skindred.
