I Like Hip Hop and Rap

I like every genres really... nothing depresses me more than these new "rappers." If that's what you can even call them. Most of it is sounds, noises from Rhein mouths, and made up words. lol yahty, migos, Kodak black, 21 savage, etc... these are the people I'm talking about. Kendrick Lamar is somebody I can get behind though. 👌🏼

I miss the 90's-2000's hip hop era.

My dad (78 this year) was an astute music critic, I clearly remember his appraisal of rap when he first heard the music my brother was playing, 'shut that rubbish up, it's neither one thing or the other.'

You want to hear what rap started like? Go listen to one of the first rappers...Kurtis Blow...or Sugarhill Gang or Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Now that was true rap!!!
