I never cared for concept of deluxe editions when it comes to music albums

It's nice when they add more tracks to the record (except for when they're remixes, which I hate), but if one purchases the standard edition, then they're basically paying for an incomplete album and have to pay extra if they want the full album. Imo, albums should be released with only one official version: that being the finished product. But I suppose it's all about money in the end and what better way to make a little more by withholding a few tracks on the standard released and then releasing the full version of a record by slapping a "deluxe edition" label on it? Lame.

Different countries usually get different versions of the album, too.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found a Japanese version of an album that includes songs I’ve never heard of.
