"All Fired Up" – Pat Benatar

[media=https://youtu.be/PsnYrH3BUP8]
American rocker Pat Benatar really knocked it out of the park with her 1988 cover of "All Fired Up".

The song was first released in 1987 by the Australian band Rattling Sabres. It was written by the band's guitarist, Kerryn Tolhurst, who said he preferred his original version to the one by Benatar. His fellow Australians apparently didn't feel the same way: The RS version peaked at #94 in Australia, while Benatar's single made it to #2 in that country.

Benatar's recording reached the top 20 in the US, the UK, Canada, and New Zealand, and it earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in 1989. It's one of Benatar's nine Grammy nominations between 1981 and 1990. The singer was the Grammy winner four of the times she was nominated.
