Isaac Hayes, "Theme from ‘The Men’"(1972)

A great theme from a short-lived (1972-1973) crime drama starring, among others, Robert Conrad.

Thank you. This I think stands in the way of those on SW who question does music have a place here? How else will I find new music and ways to make friends?

I hear a lot of interludes.
@SW-User Music is one of the most popular things shared here and one of the few things people rarely fight about. I’ve found a lot music new to me, that I really enjoy, because of other’s posts.

@bijouxbroussard Yes, and compared to Youtube comments, I might find thoughtful responses. Beyond that, I don't know you, you don't know me, but I will harbour a guess somewhere we have some values shared and we find them here together. 🤏 Just putting back in where they have a place.

This is great. Never heard it before, but it does have that distinctive Issac Hayes-ish sound to it.
@Rutterman No, I’ll have to check it out. Does it appear on any of the streaming services ?

@bijouxbroussard You can get it on Hulu now. I actually recorded it when it aired on ABC a while back and just got around to watching it.

I think you'd enjoy it. A lot of great performances by well-known artists and the commentary in the film is very interesting.
@Rutterman Very cool ! I have Hulu.
He was my best friends favorite. "Willy" and I spent many nights with a jug of "Red Mountain" and Isaac Hayes. RIP to both. ( I'm still your "lil bro" Willy)
@Grateful4you Awesome. My friends Susie, Vivi and I played his albums on Pop’s turntable. Those were the days.
@bijouxbroussard It sure was. We were the odd couple. Willy a straight black man and me a white, gay, long haired hippy. Misfits on sight but together fit perfectly. You loved "Pops" the way I loved my dad, I love that!
