All music welcomed, no limits.

I have many favourites, but this one caught me to remember to actually post it... so I'll start it here,

Here's a little something I love, even though I know most will find cheesy. The album- Music For Parties by Silicon Teens. The artist is actually Fad gadget- a mad talented artist imo. At least check out the two songs "Memphis- Tennessee (Chuck Berry cover) and "Red Rock River" (traditional song) as a start please. The whole album is of similarly fun covers.

@RoaringLion Sadly, both say unavailable to me. I'll look them up. Thank you.

Thanks for the listen Windy. Of this collection there is consistent quality among the covers, and for those who dig a fun vocal performance, this is worth checking out. I'm still listening, but i'm gonna lay down "Every Time I Feel the Spirit", and big bloosey sound on "Fix me Jesus" as my faves. How's his Big Momma Thornton style vocal on that- wow!

@SW-User Very pretty.

@SW-User Is it a traditional song covered in modern style?
SW-User
The original has a traditional beat, yup @SW-User

Here's an original and a cover,

I'd say they stayed mostly musically true to the original song, yet changed the meanings with only slight changes.

@SW-User Super freshen up on that. I love what Bum's 'n' Noses did with the ending of that one, yeah!

I like how this changes up the original song and the purpose. Cohen was known to spend weeks on one expression. Beck, took a challenge, and all songs had to be performed in a day in studio.

@SW-User Love this Windy. I finished read the history of American music last week. A weighty tome that highlighted songs of influence since recording began. This one really stuck with me. I hope you enjoy, I mean- the guitar sound on the solo- damn:

@bijouxbroussard Thank you. Very close to the original, right?
@SW-User One of the few covers I love as much as the original.

@bijouxbroussard Again, thank you. I'm gently pushing this community elsewhere, and I happen to love music posts. Beautiful version that captures the same softness in emotion.

I'll add another, and I love this one,
