I Love Piano Music

My 12 year old son wants to take piano lessons! I’ve been searching kijiji and it’s crazy how so many people just want to give them away! I’ll take em! My husband is working in the city and has two strapping strong young men with him and a trailer! What more could I ask for?! I want to surprise my son with his very own upright piano!

They are yesterday's instrument. Big and a piece of furniture, not portable, one sound, maintenance issues (esp finding a piano tuner these days) whereas modern electronic ones, pack away, no tuning hassle, many more sounds, more easily portable etc

But get one, play it, maintain it keep it alive

@Lhayezee I don't disagree but we had a piano growing up my sister inherited it. I realised it had gone from her new house. Then realised that was true for many friends too. That's a summary of the responses I got back. For many the tuning went and decent tuners charge as much as the piano was worth and it frustrated the kids trying to learn (pianos don't like centrally heated homes) so they bought electric.

I wish I'd had one now. I had a synth but got rid of that due to space issues. I can't play keyboards well. I had to record right hand into a sequencer then left hand 😂😂😂

I like the piano too. Mixed in with metal is the best
