Just started watching FARGO on Netflix, and it states it's true story. But all over the web it states it's made up story.

@HypnoChode True, but every episode claims to be a true story and it also states that the names have been changed to protect the survivors. So you say it's flawless , huh? Isn't that misleading ?

@HypnoChode It's just my Opinion, that it's misleading and using artistic licence to mislead viewers. That is the basis of my question. There are true stories, and nothing is flawless. That's all. lol

@BohemianBabe I agree, but it says things like the killings are factual and it is a true story. It also states that the names have been changed for respect for the dead in the story. But it is 100% fiction ?

@BohemianBabe It implies that the story is factual. I think that's a little silly. Because the Coen brothers totally admit later to the ruse and said it was artistic licence they used in the movie to make it more interesting to viewers .
