i saw the holy grail a long time ago, but i never saw the life of brian, as a christian, i'd be interested to see it, but i'd suspect it could have things edited out because of wokeism and political correctness now.
I had seen 'Life of Brian' way back when it came out and I remember thinking it was kinda funny, so the wife & I started to re-watch it a couple years ago. Disclaimer: I'm a non-religious progressive. I still love the Flying Circus and Holy Grail.
The 'Life of Brian' did NOT age well. It was full of casual sexism and unnecessary nudity. Many of the gags just weren't funny 2nd time round.
But I still love 'Spanish Inquisition' and I think 'autonomous collective' is the funniest single scene in comedy!
@Jungleman Progressive means I tend to vote for democrats although I've voted for republicans from time to time. Non-religious means I'm not part of any church. BTW, I'm an agnostic, not an atheist.
