A six part series released by the BBC in 2006, and shown on the cable channel BBC America in 2007, which is where I saw it. An excellent modern day political thriller. Very well written and acted.

Salem's Lot. Surprisingly spooky. It was a miniseries, actually, directed by Tobe Hooper(Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist).

The Last Don (1997). It was actually a miniseries, but a decent one.

"A walk in the clouds", starring keanu reeves. this is a chic flick. if you're a guy you won't get it at all

it's on youtube i believe, if you like vigilante films, it is a great film, a hidden gem.

I have been searching for a made for TV mini-series that was about desegregation and MLK and the civil rights movement. It was a big deal but I cannot recall the name and struggle to find it in searches.
