@gol979 Yeah, I've been noticing that too. Especially when it comes to A.I.
A lot of stories with them try to push forth the idea that they have real emotions and are really no different than us, despite the obvious fact that they have to be programmed to do anything they do, whereas people don't, we can just do it. Now I've even started questioning why our brains have been compared to computers for so long.. just to get us used to thinking A.I. is an acceptable replacement for an actual living, thinking human being, because we're not that different... even though in reality, we are.

@Redstar transhumanism is going to be the"new" tool/narrative aimed at full control of respective populations. Cbdc, chips, digital id etc. A digital hellscape if we dont stand up

2032, Blue Ridge Mountains - Flynn and her brother Burton live in a rural home caring for their sick mother. Burton makes money through gaming, but Flynn is the true talent and often goes online using his avatar to make big money.

2100, London - In the future they have developed a way to connect with the consciousness of a person in the past. They connect with Flynn while she's in the avatar of Burton using a new console.

All hell breaks lose. 🙂
