Executive Producer Billy Eichner Lashes Out at ‘Straight People’ and ‘Homophobic Weirdos’ For All Gay Comedy “Bros” Flopping at Weekend Open

Far-left executive producer Billy Eichner was angry that the majority of the country wasn’t interested in his all gay comedy “Bros” which included graphic sex scenes.

““Bros,” billed as an all gay comedy, is a box office disaster.” – Showbiz 411 reported. “Total receipts for Thursday and Friday came to just $1.84 million. With another $2.5 million coming on Saturday and Sunday, “Bros” stands to make less than $5 million for its entire opening weekend.”

Billy Eichner lashed out at straight people and blamed his failure to launch on “homophobic weirdos.”

Eichner said he snuck into a theater in Los Angeles and it was *sold out* – perhaps he doesn’t understand that the rest of the country ISN’T Los Angeles.

But, but, but Rolling Stone had “BROS” on the list of best comedies.

How could the gay rom-com be such a disaster at the box office??

Billy Eichner just couldn’t believe that even with “glowing reviews” from lefty Marxist movie ‘critics’ the box office was a total flop.

“…straight people, especially in certain parts of the country, just didn’t show up for Bros.” he said.

The crybaby then begged everyone who “isn’t a homophobic weirdo” to go see his movie “Bros.”

I guess you can't MAKE people be interested in your sex life.

With less than 4% of the US population being gay men , his target audience was going to be sparse . His rant only solidified most people’s reason for not watching .
@TexChik I think 4% is a bit generous

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP The entire LGBTQ population makes up about 7% of the total US population, so very likely.
@TexChik and I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the percentage climbs higher and higher as it becomes more and more fashionable. 10 years ago, it was reported as half that

Liberalism is a mental illness, like Alzheimer's. It erodes their brains, and they just get dumber and dumber. Hollyweird still hasn't figured out that no one wants to see their woke crap, and they somehow think that insulting their proposed audience is a good idea.
if at first you dont succeed........ blame everyone else. LOL

Yep, if someone thinks everyone should be interested in that then they are delusional.

Do you ever have normal posts that are not about being angry or hating someone or name calling?
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Budwick You need serious help man.
Yes but every post is crazy like the "marxist critics" lol.

Don't you do anything but read hate speech all day? Maybe volunteerism? A girlfriend, puzzles?

@JimboSaturn Thanks for your concern Jimbo.
Rippin on the left is kind of a hobby of mine.

@Budwick Maybe it's time to branch out buddy. Your echo chamber is making you compulsive.

Many people respect each other's cultural or sexual orientation differences. That doesn't automatically have to equate to spending money on a film that's probably not even that funny.

I'm so heartbroken, your Zionist funded attempt to further devide America failed, Billy. Maybe you Demons, should take a Community College, Marketing 101 course!

Did he ever come to the realization that maybe straight men and women are not his target audience when it came to this particular movie? The reason why The Birdcage was successful back in the 90s was because it had stars like Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and Gene Hackman in it. Before Bros came out, the general public probably has never heard of these current actors and maybe the movie just wasn't funny enough.

So people are gay or whatever but too many want it to define who they are. I don't give a crap what they do behind closed doors but I don't need or care to know about it.

Well, apparently, most people are not interested in watching debauchery.
🤔

He'll get over it😏

Hmmm, maybe producer Billy Eichner made a movie that most people do not chose to see.

He sounds like a politician, blame your failures on someone else.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
He's being unrealistic.
"Bros" isn't "Brokeback Mountain".
That film was adapted from a story by a leading writer of westerns, had a highly acclaimed director and a cast of "stars".
This film was not as hyped, and has a less well known director and cast.
It might be a good film (it has garnered some good reviews), and if it's that good word of mouth might lead to better box office results in the future.
Hopefully he doesn't believe everything he said, but is just making noise for the sake of getting his film noticed.

what's he complaining about, he got what he wanted... a gay "comedy".... 🤣

even 1979's Caligula made $23 million box office... 🤔
carpediem · 61-69, M
I suppose if you're not a woke left coast gay, you're a "weirdo". He got what he deserved.
akindheart · 61-69, F
always looking for another target to blame right?
