Oxygen levels are critical.

You can't have an underwater sci-fi action film without oxygen levels being at a critical level.
You would think they would of come up with larger air tanks or a back up system by now.
Also they want to get rid of that AI voice that repeatedly tells the people that their oxygen levels are low, this only makes them more anxious.

@LordShadowfire this one had monsters that tried to eat them and they were stuck in an exploding drilling rig at the bottom of the sea. That's tense enough imo.
