What would happen to a toy in the Toy Story universe if they were caught being alive by humans?

I think there was a few occasions they revealed that they were “alive” to some humans. I’m thinking Sid in the first one (if that was his name) and I think there was at least one more moment but my memory fails me. Need to watch again

@IrishPat I was thinking what if someone found out on accident like an adult, would they freak out and faint? Or would they go crazy and be put in a mental hospital?

Maybe it’s involuntary? Like when a child approaches they just automatically shut down?

@Theyitis Maybe but a toy usually always warns everyone when someone is coming to the room.

@WendyLopez43 Yeah, I think you’re right. But to play devil’s advocate, maybe the warning is just so you’re not doing something important or dangerous when you automatically shut down.
