A hysterical, eccentric, 80-year-old, free-spirited woman (Ruth Gordon) and a 20-year-old, depressed, inward, suicidal young man (But Cort) explore life together. Harold's mother, a well-to-do, controlling, over-bearing mother (Vivian Pickles), adds to the insane antics. Music score: songs by Cat Stevens. One of the best comedies, ever.
