Dated this guy for about a year, realized we were headed in different directions and parted amicably.
He checked in sporadically, then went through about a year of trying to maneuver us back together.
Our last conversation was cheerful and friendly.
Then nearly two years passed where he didn't text or email and didn't answer mine. I thought he was dead.
