Americans, Are You Going To Spend Less Time At The Grocery Store Because The CDC Has Recommended It?

I think I’ll go outside and chew on some tree bark since grocery shopping is not recommended now. 😂

Just wear a mask
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman Nerp, haven’t done it even once.
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti why not
It protects others around you
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman Sure, sure. I know how to take care of my immune system so I don’t get sick and spread germs to others. But the doctors and medical institutions are not teaching that are they? It would cut way back on their business and they wouldn’t get so rich. Same with the cancer industry.

@cherokeepatti strange most recommendations are to wear masks

You wearing a mask protects others in close proximity
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman Bull crap
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti what’s bull crap exactly?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman healthy people wearing masks. If I breathe carbon dioxide back into my lungs it will make me unhealthy. Therefore I won’t wear one. If I’m sick I’ll stay home.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti see, you need a schnoz!
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti firstly masks don’t affect your blood co2 or o2 concentrations when used normally
Even six masks as per below

Secondly YOU protect others by wearing a mask.

It’s simple...

@yeronlyman No it’s much simpler to eat a healthy diet and stay well to begin with. I have never been scared out in public without a mask because I don’t eat junky food from fast food restaurants and load up on crap. But the CDC won’t talk about that.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Tastyfrzz nope no feed bag for me
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti a heathy diet especially vitamin D levels can help

However masks reduce spread

I’ve have 750 hours of close contact and 750 of near contact with masks in healthcare, at one stage during one of the highest world rates of sars2 incidence, and myself or colleagues with masks have never had an outbreak

Our kids with 8 confirmed cases in their school and 120 tested as close contacts have never had one case of transmission with masks
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman Good for you. I rarely ever get sick. I take supplements to cut down on inflammation in my lungs. If I’m not sick I’m not wearing a damned mask. In fact if I am sick I won’t wear a mask, I’ll stay home.
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti well staying home is good for protection against sars2 but not necessarily against the other issues

Stay safe
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman I take care of myself. So stop with the fear mongering. Makes me think you work for the CDC or something.
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti only that you not wearing a mask in human proximity puts others at risk...

That’s the point
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman If I were sick it would. You don’t even get the concept do you? Instead you want to stir up fear in people. I am not going to be too scared to live my life. shame on you
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti you can still speed sars2 despite being asymptotic

That’s the point

It’s not rocket science
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman why don’t you post things about the rate of medical malpractice in the USA and how many people have died due to it every year. That would be an interesting read. I have sisters that are nurses and have heard plenty.
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti indeed

But that’s not the focus of this reply

In proximity to humans wear a mask to protect others
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@yeronlyman You are very redundant so I am going to block your redundant ass, how about that?
