It really depends. I feel like Illinois is the only normal state. At least my area. Most of this bullshit is in California or Florida... which im not sure what the people are drinking down there but they are crazy.

And I’ve honestly never seen a president so [b]eager[/b] to keep people at each others’ throats. Who holds rallies demonizing half of the population when you’re supposed to be president of [b]everyone[/b] ?
It never used to be like this. It started in 2016 when the enormous Democrat Power party machine crashed unexpectedly. They pulled out all the stops to try to regain power. That includes trolling the internet to create divisiveness.
It gets even more charged in this country when you realize how much foreign trolling Americans willingly share on social media. Confirmation bias is a real bitch when it comes to being informationally literate; it's so much easier to just share that meme even if you know it probably isn't true.
It's mostly people blowing off steam online. Most people go about their business and don't get all political in real life. If you just went by what people say online, you would think we were in the midst of the next Civil War.
It is a particularly fraught time politically for the US. Like there's always been divides but the past five or so years have been getting worse and worse.
