Seatbelt sensory issues

Seatbelts!

So scratchy on my neck and ear!

Why do they stretch if you’re not allowed to learn forwards? It’s so hard to sit still like that.

Lots of arguments and reminders in the car telling me to fix the belt and lean back and sit still.

I try my best but it is hard and I forget. I don’t want to use my car harness again. But there needs to be a better way.

@nobodyishome agreed! I prefer the seatbelt to the harness but it’s still uncomfortable

Just put it under your arm. If its so high up its on your neck or face you're gonna get way more hurt if you wreck than if its lower on your ribs. Also i have this same annoyance its the only way I get through.

@beththesloth I understand! Only had the one incident about a decade ago now. And that was in a teeny tiny town full of morons. Never had anyone else even mention it if I get stopped. I'm a bit small and my bones break easily, id rather the broken ribs over a broken neck. I'm too tall to need a booster seat like short women with this problem. That could also be an option rather than the harness maybe? 🤷‍♀

On the door post where the seat belt comes out there is a button that you can press that lets the seatbelt adjust up and down. Maybe you should try to adjust it down and it won't be on your ear.
