Inside of all his sunshine Contained in skies of blue Storm clouds form a coming front It's never nothing new
They bring forth the winds of judgement Containing raindrops filled with sorrows Completely blotting out his sun Slaying the dreams of his tomorrows
His past is filled with demons That haunt his every step They lay behind those eyes of his Which are filled with such regret.
Upon his face you'll find a smile Which cannot touch his eyes Because the hopes that he once held Have died deep down inside
Yet still he wanders onward Blessed at every turn With newer aspirations granted That he never earned
Newer claims upon his soul Shiney chains upon his heart And with an ever sinking, shattered feeling He begins a whole new start
But loss is like a thousands scars That draw a map across the soul That only one can try to follow Through their blackened hole
A path filled with a deeper misery And questions all quite demanding That's claimed a million men that trudged Through the black holes that command them
I hope to see him come through I wish for him to find some peace I want him to just carry on Until his darkness does recede
