Has there ever been any protests that have resulted in suicide? [I'm Interested In Human Psychology]

In the 1960's there was a spate of self immolation protests ( people burning themselves to death to protest something ) recently many monks in Tibet have been doing it to protest the persecution Tibetans are facing under the rule of evil communism..
