Is it true there is no cure for paranoia (without the schizophrenia)?

SW-User
I had never heard there was no cure for paranoia. There is a cure for paranoia especially without schizophrenia. Paranoia is usually caused from elevated dopamine with or without schizophrenia. The paranoia can often be mitigated with drugs that decrease dopamine, such as antipsychotics or drugs that raise serotonin levels like SSRI's. Dopamine and serotonin work a little like a see saw. When one neurotransmitter is too high, using a med to raise the other neurotransmitter will lower the neurotransmitter that is too high. You would need to get a doctor to help you with this, but it isn't true that there is no cure for paranoia.
