Sometimes I wish I could just live in a mental asylum like the olden days

Just be unhinged, and have nothing to do with society, never have play normal again. I could just walk around the wards talking to nurses, and patients and read books and paint.

You know you can be crazy and have fun even when you're mentally healthy, right? I've been practicing being a dumbass and dancing in my car no matter who watches, because it's fun.

Not that I'm mentally healthy but still. 😆

But don’t you think it would nice to be in a good asylum, constant help from nurses, not having to engage with society. Not having to keep up your house, grocery shop. Just walk around the wards doing whatever. I really love it on the wards. Maybe if I had more of a future I wouldn’t be so nostalgic. Watch girl interrupted you will see what I mean. That’s an asylum film. @SinlessOnslaught

@sirenofthesea I haven't been in an asylum but I've been in a high-security mental health facility and yes I felt at peace. It was nice to just do nothing all day but talk to people. But here at home, I have rewarding tasks I can do. I'm about to clean my bathroom while listening to music. Then I'm going to sit on my balcony and lift weights. It's fun.

I do that in my head. You can make up the nurses or Dr's in your imagination and stay home. I prefer to avoid the electroshock treatments. Although on certain drugs, it's all wonderful. 😁
And.... you'd be able to hold onto your beauty. 🙂
