How do you manage stress specially if too much tension has been happening around you affecting sleep and inner peace?

Working on finding those concrete strategies. Don鈥檛 think I manage it as well as I鈥檇 like to think I do considering how easily I feel weighted down by one hiccup. But remembering there鈥檚 only so much I can do helps me not put too much pressure on myself. Disconnecting from technology and people and connecting with nature helps clear the mechanism greatly. And being honest with others and myself when I鈥檓 struggling is very beneficial in minimizing stress. Committing to a nighttime ritual, including capturing any pent up darkness through words and putting them on paper, helps clear the mind before bed. Engaging in activities that promote your inner light to shine are crucial to combating it, along with choosing who you spend your time with wisely.

Stress isn鈥檛 going anywhere. It serves its purpose, even though it鈥檚 a persistent cuss鈥ut what you can control is how you respond to it. Change your responses and you鈥檒l have yourself a greatly needed shift in power.

Lots of naps at the weekend, binge-watching favourite box sets, listening to music in the car, making soup, hugs from hubby, playing Solitaire on my phone, being around animals, writing stuff down.

Exercise helps, especially my punching bag. Cry if I can. Change of scenery, works especially well if I can get into the woods or to the beach.

I'm not religious but I read the story about an Irish girl called Dymphna...
Her heroism etc just aids me to sleep! She became a Saint afterwards! For insomnia, stress and anxiety.
