the car companies have been very successful at getting guys to think that pickup trucks are masculine so are able to get a lot of guys to buy pickup trucks. Pickup trucks have the biggest profit margins of any of the vehicles that Detroit makes. most people driving a pick-up truck are not using it for its intended purpose of hauling construction materials to a construction site or hauling hogs to market. one time I was driving on the interstate during an ice storm and the ditches were full of pickup trucks. there were some vans in the ditches too. hardly any cars were in the ditches. is everyone ready for St Patrick's day? 🍀
