Different places , Difficult circumstances

It wasn't so much that we didn't love or care for one another. We were a Bi Coastal couple , and her career was on one side of the country, my home the other.

She saw one future, I saw another.

We were wildly compatible and for four great years we held on. But as great as the passion was , as bright as the fire burned , in the end it just wasn't enough to hold us forward.

However in the last hour , I am pleased to say we spoke kind words , wished each other immeasurable happiness, and spoke as dear friends would.

Wherever she goes , I sincerely hope she's happy and I wish her all the best.
