What do you do when you feel like someone is expecting a hug but you don’t want to?

Offer them a handshake. If someone wanted to hug me though I’d be honored. It almost never happens.

I just awkwardly stand there hoping they’d take the hint lol

1. Hold their hands and put them on their side.
2. Give them a high five.
3. Turn around and act busy.
4. Cough in your elbow.
5. Pretend something fell on the ground and pick it up.

I step back, I don't do hugs...pretty sure it's written all over my face

Fake an epileptic seizure. No one wants to hug that.

The only people that ever want hugs are my kids and buddy and ill always hug them.

Other get a side hug or if im lucky ill have a tic or outburst and they stay away

I am a softie. I want to like people and hope they will feel nicely toward me. I have hugs for everyone.

People rarely approach me closely. I don't get near anyone I don't want to be.

Reminds me off the awkward brothers hug at the end of Step Brothers.
