The things i LOVE
Previously i covered what was interesting, a notch up is LOVE territory.
In a late work Nietzsche pointed out the close relationship there is between love and hate. I agree with him, when one has strong feelings about something, it isn't always in one direction.
Learning and repetition - the whole curriculum is like a vortex, spiralling, dizzying, imposing, maddening, exhilarating, things to go over and over because you just can't get enough of them, a Hindu sage on YouTube described the difference Siva has with Buddha is that the former is like falling in a bottomless well. He paused for maximum effect, and then goes on to say that falling in such a way is wondrous. I see my curriculum in a similar manner, but i realize i won't be alive forever, but at that point, it won't matter.
The open endednesses - much can be said against religions and beliefs, but one thing i'd like to say in it's favor is that there is i believe a divine part in us all, we may all be more corrupt overall, but still a part is divine or something unlike anything else in a rotten situation, we practice kindness, or civility for example, so when it comes to sacred texts that have a dead end feel to them, that say this is it, believe or be sent to a place of torment forever and ever, the 180 degree point away from that sees parts of a higher portion of ourselves, this is where it'll resonate, unless one is a misanthropist and likes the idea of an alien way of being demanded of earthly people on pain of supernatural penalties.
Beauty and grace in people - people i wish to emulate, and those who i admire from a distance, for being involved would be problematic at best. Lovely people, they bless you just by being themselves. We here focus a lot on adult themed content, and that i heartily admit to having a psychological benefit for when you're otherwise swamped with serious non-fun matters. For me, i find fun in learning and stuff, and SW is for me strictly PG.
Strong and persuasive opinions - this is where i'll put the isms i love, for being so fully immersed in their own thing, i just got to love them, for example the extreme pessimism that Cioran and Ligotti assembles, whether i agree with them gets in the way of enjoying them. I'll decide later if at all. For the time being people with strong and persuasive opinions are like sport superstars and i'm in the stands cheering them on, seperate from the mental conflagrations they must go through.
Peace, calm and tranquility - in this anxiety ridden mental landscape i place the highest value in what is aspired to. In this state i won't be worried about whether everything's ok anymore, for i will know everything's ok.
