What's another heartache, unseen?
To drift in silence, a silent scream.
Amidst the chaos, the noise, the crowd,
I've stood alone, both lost and proud.
What's another judgment, too loud?
To shroud the truth in a tattered shroud.
In the depths where secrets lie,
I've searched for answers, asking why.
What's another facade, a lie?
To shield the soul, to touch the sky.
So let us meet where shadows play,
Where words unsaid find their own way.
What's another conversation, they say?
To bridge the chasm, to find our way.
So click your heels, and heed the call,
To where fantasies linger, behind the wall.
Enter my realm, where mysteries abound,

We simply move about as we choose,

With confidence in Noctum's embrace,
Chase me through the fires, tail of flame,
Plant gardens where we need no rain,
We are not meant to be tame,
Torching what we touch with our pain,
Here we are safe, here we are alone,
Now I know why, I always longed for home,

And let our passion freely flow,
In this haven where secrets grow,
Our love will bloom and forever know.

@NinaCherry It's poetry. But I'm also a percussionist so I play drums and keys and I can hear rhythm and notes when I write. So they could be songs. Maybe someday once I get my digital audio workstation up.

@AlchemyFox As a person afflicted with poetry, I do think it is important when the creator realizes their creation has gone forth and landed successfully in the minds and ears of the appreciative

She's got so many more beautiful words, photographs, life observations, and personal reflections from her adventures .... hopefully they're all written down and not misplaced in SW in the past.
Maybe she'll share with us those ....
