Had an otter visit my pond out back over the last few days

He or she, whatever the case may be, swam with a love of its making. I watched the critter play and even watched when it floated on its back eating a fish. The otter is an amazing animal and around here in this area of my state, there are a lot of catfish ponds and the overseers will shoot an otter. They guard their livelihood. I don't fish my pond anymore, the kids do but as it may be, I didn't mind the otter. God gave him life and who am I to take it. I love nature and all creatures.
