I bought these two beautiful journals from Amazon, The owl one I will keep as a gardening journal, to stick my watercolour pictures in of the herbs and various plants I have and how to take care of them. A good way to learn and grow as a gardener I think, useful things I would otherwise forget such as pest problems, solutions and what I planted each season. The larger one for my own personal record. I believe writing does wonders for my mental health easpecially in these times. Some blog as their journal but some things are to be kept private because no one can re-live the events I have experienced. It's also a track record of mistakes and successes I can learn from.
I write in an At-a-Glance diary every day. It isn't really a diary, I just note what I did that day, not my thoughts or feelings. I can tell you the high temperature in Denver for every day in the last 12 years!

They’re gorgeous. I did have a journal then someone I trusted read it and misinterpreted it the wrong way 🙄
These days I tend to use photography as a way of expressing how I’m feeling 🕊
